We will always specify which birth years are open to register for each skills camp. Please note that when there are age gaps, our skills camps are designed as individual work base only. There will not be any times on ice where an older player will face a younger player. We will divide the players on ice to their appropriate age and or skill level.
Skill Training
Our skills practices are structured by 3 main targets.
- Skating techniques: inside and outside edge, transitions and speed.
- Skill tracks: A specific arrangement of on ice tools that simulate game like situations and task's. Skating techniques used in the track are expressed in detail.
- Zone Specific/Position Specific Skills: Creating skill drills that mimic the movement and decision making that is used in a game situation.
The goal is to overload the player with decision making and skill mechanics. If we can stress the player on ice with us to make fast decisions throughout repetitions of the skill track, when they are faced with challenges in the game they will have the confidence and tools to accomplish any task they encounter. Practice does not make perfect, but builds confidence. It is the unpredictability of the game of hockey that makes it so fun. Our skills training is predictable tasks in front of the player to accomplish, and we believe this can be translated into their playing abilities in games.

The cap is 10 skaters and 2 goalies. Spots are on a first come first serve basis.
